Coloplast Product Details
Coloplast offers ostomy products in both 1-piece and 2-piece drainable and urostomy styles. These products feature a no-tape barrier and are latex-free. The 2-piece systems use either a mechanical locking mechanism or an adhesive coupling to attach the pouch to the skin barrier. Sensura® and Assura® products are interchangeable for coupling, but Sensura® Mio products can only be coupled with other Sensura® Mio items. Available in Midi and Maxi lengths.
Pouches
- SenSura® Mio: Available in Transparent, Natural Grey, and Natural Grey with an Inspection Window. Outlet options include Easiclose closure with either wide or narrow outlets for ileo filter pouches. An ileo filter is available in select SKUs.
- Sensura® and Assura®: Available in Transparent or Opaque. Newer lines feature Easiclose closure, with a clamp closure option in Assura®.
Baseplates
- SenSura® Mio: Features BodyFit technology for adaptable movement. Baseplate options include Flat, Concave, Soft Convex, Light Convex, and Deep Convex. Light Convex is suitable for level or slightly deep-seated stomas needing a light curve. Deep Convex is for stomas below skin level or in deep-seated areas requiring a deep curve. Concave is designed for individuals with an outward area.
- Sensura® and Assura®: Sensura® offers two convexity levels: Flat and Convex Light. Assura® provides three levels: Flat, Convex Light, and Deep Convex. Both have an extended wear barrier option available.
Accessories
- SenSura® Mio: Double tab belts.
- Sensura® and Assura®: Belts with a single tab are available for both Sensura® and Assura® lines. However, not all products include belt tabs.
